Motoring Advisory Council

Innovative Motoring Policy…

An initiative of the AMEP, the Motoring Advisory Council (MAC) was established to operate in conjunction with former Senator Ricky Muir’s office to formulate motoring policy.

The MAC developed into an important mechanism for both the AMEP and the Senator’s Office, with an expert panel who can be called upon to provide advice, knowledge and support on motoring issues.

The Council consists of suitability qualified people and groups who represent the diversity of our culture. By combining knowledge, experience and resources, we can achieve far more together, than we can alone.

The list of issues, opportunities, Bills and Senate Inquiries that have been addressed by the MAC over the past several years is quite impressive. No-one could have foreseen the amount of activity that has occurred federally in relation to motoring issues in the time the MAC has been operational. It is no accident the AMEP and MAC came into existance at this time in our political history.
